Default Missouri Machine Shop

I hope to be pulling my 455 in the next couple of weekends to see what is rattling internally.

Two machine shops that are within 90 minutes of drive time to me that look promising are Precision Machine in Jefferson City and Morley Performance in Fenton.

I was hoping someone may have some first or second hand experience with either shop.

Thanks.

I haven't heard anything about those two that you listed, but another option would be Eagle Machine over in Buffalo. His name is Greg Mckinney, and he has a very good reputation. He also races a 1967/68 Firebird.

This may not help, but had work done by Precision Machine a few years ago (35 maybe???).

At that time, they lived up to their name, and reasonable in price.

Probably the machinists doing that work are long gone.

Default Precision

send a PM to T/A Addict.

He has used Precision and should have some recent feedback.

IIRC.......they have a Pontiac torque plate.

I called Morley a couple months ago and they do NOT have a Pontiac torque plate.
