Speedmaster T400 sfi case
I am looking at a bunch of the Speedmaster stuff on sale, hour left of 40% off.
Well I see they have a SFI T400 case for 66$. You need your own bellhousing. I would think the Ultra bells would bolt on. Anyone ever try one of these ? I know ATI and Reid make them too and J&W were supposed to. The Speedmaster T400 case is out of stock. |

A stock case can handle 800-1000 hp. I wouldn’t mess with the overseas stuff.

We build stock case TH400's up to 1800 hp, got to use a BOP big car case with the internal strengthening ribs, thicker oil pan rails (around .350" thick) and gussets in the bell to pump area. Or our favourite - the Jaguar case with the bell cut off for a BTE SFI type bellhousing. (Or Ultrabell). We also precision dowel a thick cast alloy oil pan to the case in 4 spots, stiffens up the bottom a treat.

Th400 case
I used to follow Facebook, "th400 group",
Few guys used that Chinesium case with success, but many prefer the American made. |
