Cool look!
Reminds me of a Opel Manta Rallye.

yes, lots of body work ongoing - but now stopped and waiting for the delivery of same sheet metal, ship is delayed!

So focusing on the engine.

Rebuild the distributor and converted to electronic

now painting the engine parts Oldsmobile gold

and waiting for new cam followers

Body is back from the body shop and more or less paint ready. Rebuild the rear end and but it on his own wheels

Looking good, but you'll need a better driver's seat.

That is so much better than putting a 350 Chevy in it like most would do.,

Can't wait to see the finished car. The quality of your work shows in the pictures. Great engine in a nicely styled car.

The only issue was that the motor shop left the valve guides to long. Ended with having the head going back to them and they fixed it same day!

Nice! Curious to see how your Saginaw 4 speed turns out. Mine island fine now but took about five tries to get it right. They have a tendency to grind when downshifting from 3 to 2. If you look how close the reverse and cluster gear are you can imagine what happens. I ended up changing half of my trans with NOS parts to get her quiet.

All endplay related issues.

Looking good, that is a new way to mess up the valves! I haven't run into that before. I have seen about 10 other ways to mess it up though! Glad the straightened it out quickly!
