Have yet to see any difference in a '69/ 70 Pontiac V8 front manual strg bracket & one from '71-74. Have/had quite a few originals that i personally pulled off cars in boneyards, thinking back nearly all of '71-74 manual steering brackets I've pulled have came off '71 T-37's & 71 350 Birds. Years ago, I remember pulling a set off of a Ventura, being a Pontiac v8 in a Ventura, it would have had to have come out of a '72-74 as there were no Pontiac 350's in '71 Ventura II's.
On the small rear bracket, the few I've pulled & the one I'm using on HO Coupe came off '71 Pontiac v8's. Have sold several complete '71 sets over the years to fellow roundport restorers. I'm not certain exactly what's the difference between '71 usage #482966 rear bracket & what you're showing as 485990. Will compare bracket mtg holes on pair of my 197's vs pair of worked 7K3's have going on the '72 LeMans Coupe. One of my upcoming summer projects in the shop will be making a few of the 482996 rear brackets. I need two more & would like to have several more. Theyre not going to be stamped as pretty as the stamped factory piece, but in experimenting, have figured out a way with some crude dies.

I'd gladly purchase one of your 482966 if they are close enough!

The 71-74 10SI REAR bracket is not even needed.
