Default Throttle return spring for 4500 series ADP carb?

I have a 1250 CFM ADP Holley carburetor. It appears most all normal throttle return spring setups do not work. Does anybody know what setup may work for this?

I just ran a double spring forward to a bracket I made up that attached to the first intake manifold bolt -- or am I missing something?

This is what I had to do to my 1050. I removed the retainer for the 2 springs and installed it under and in front of the throttle bracket cable holder. I then used 2 normal springs for return. Works great. I then make a new gas pedal support bracket out of metal so it would be stronger as the plastic one broke.

I went by my old shop at our other house and found one laying in the floor and with about 2 minutes on a grinder fixed it right up!

Bracket is made by Allstar and comes with springs, and a Lokar cable, i really like this setup on mine.

My issue was that an ADP dominator has external secondary opening linkage instead of internal like all other Holley Dominators...
