I run the K&N's when I drive her.
I have the paper filters for the shows. When bright white (new) they look the best.

Every so often, I forget to change them. I honestly don't feel a difference.
I just assumed the K&N flowed much more air, so they were better for performance.

Been running the same set of K&N's on my '65 for the past 37 years with no problems. With the paper, the middle element would get restrictive pretty quickly under normal use. I don't show the car, just drive it.
