I always have a braid and tuck it in to my coveralls, less chance of getting it caught.

SRR always liked to make jokes about it getting caught and how it'd change my life for the worst if it happened ;-)

I don't use creepers anymore, tired of them always getting stuck. For the most part I use a moving blanket. I might have to check out that fatigue mat from Harbor Freight.

Default Another Creeper

A low nape carpet folded over works great, with the carpet side on the floor (slides easy and won't scratch epoxy floors) and then the carpet side you are laying on make it halfway comfortable and sockets or small parts wont roll away. Example, take a 3' x 10' piece and fold over to end up with a 3' x 5' piece. When dirty, throw away.

Surprised at the number of responses to this. Like many I use a piece of cardboard at home, at the wrecking yard, when looking at prospective purchases where-ever.
