Default 71 Grand Prix parting out

No engine or transmission. Car is rough. Many body panels (as in fenders, quarter panels, etc.) may not worth shipping due to damage, in my opinion. Emblems, window trim, dash, gauges, etc. can be easily shipped. Price can be reflective of the effort required to remove, and pack; plus shipping. Pictures to follow. If you need something, ask and I will get you pictures and description of the condition. Car has drum brakes, and 14 inch rally IIs.

Parts are near El Paso TX 79836.

Thanks for looking,
Vick

Default 71 GP parts

Parts from the car in the pictures still available.

Cornering lamps, driver good, pass side trim is bent but light fixture is complete. $10.

Many parts of the car are free for local pickup.

Thanks for looking.

I think it called sail panel top of roof down to about 4 inches below vinyl top would you be willing to cut off both sides and ship

I am willing and think $50 would be fair for the work to cut and box up. Shipping may be costly. The vinyl top is off and the condition of the sheet metal looks good. I need to remove the SS trim to see the condition under there. Let me know what you think of the price.

Any of you guys building a car, you should get the frame from this GP.. GM only used that frame on the 68-72 el Camino and the 69-72 Grand Prix. Its a very thick and heavy duty frame. Its called the A.O. Smith #1942 frame...
My 69 el Camino handles like a dream with this frame under it..

Default 71 GP

Looking for the square rubber insert on the top of the radiator support toward the passenger side. It presses in.

Thanks,
Harvey

I removed the vinyl top trim and found the metal underneath to be in perfect shape. The flange for the rear window does have rust but I think it is a non-issue as it seems serviceable to me. I drew a line on the quarter panel 4 inches below the trim line for an idea of the size of the pieces we are dealing with. It will probably take a 60 x 24 x 12 box to package properly.
