Default 68 convertible & coupe chassis the same?

Are the mounting brackets & points for the upper & lower control arms & suspension mounts (spring pockets & shock mounts) the same on a 68 convertible as a 68 coupe? Are the diff lengths the same does anyone know? Thanks.

All dimensions are the same. Convertible frame was used as the heavy duty frame option for the coupe. Transmission support crossover is different.

The chassis for convertibles have the side boxed for structural strength. The flex in a unboxed chassis (coupe) would really play game with the body alignment and gaps on a convertible.

The convertible frame was actually offered as a “HD frame option” on some closed body cars.
