If I had the money (almost as "what if..." as a time machine ) as far as a Pontiac goes it would be a 1969 Royal Bobcat Grand Prix with the RAV engine and a 4-spd, BLACK (the way a GP should be ), hood tach. Now for any other car my first choice would be a would be a Ford GT40 Mk IV 427. Holman & Moody still make them new just like their original car on special order for around $500,000.
Next might be a, 2. 1973 Porsche 917/30 3. 1969 Lola T163 4. 1971 Tyrrell Ford Type 003 5. 1976 Tyrrell Ford Type P34 (They were WILD ) 6. 1972 Lotus Ford Type 72D 7. 1964 Grand Sport Coupe 8. 1967 L71 427cid/435hp 'vette 9. 1969 427 ZL-1 'vette 10. 1967 Shelby GT500 427 Le Mans, 4-spd 11. 1973 SD 455, 4-spd

Geeto Tiger--were those 12 Golden Sabre RAM AIR V GTO'S documented--can you imagine what they would be worth now -$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ .I would have ordered a 70 1/2 T/A with a dealer installed RAM AIR V 400 -428 from Knaffel or Royal Pontiac-- or a silver 63 SD421 CATALINA 4 spd. Another car I would like would be a Black 65 GTO conv. dealer installed 421 HO or a 73 SD455 T/A 4 spd. -red with the deluxe black interior .

I had the T-1000 four door, sold it with 105,000 miles on it.
If I had it to do over again i'd buy my 78 T/A again, only keep it from rusting this time.

If I Could Go Back In time....
My choice would have to be a 1970 GTO Judge. It would be Polar white with a black interior, definately be a 4-speed car with a RA 4 plant. 4:33 axle and no frills. That has always been my very first choice. Secondly, I'd have to opt for a 1962 Catalina with the SD engine and of course a 4-speed. Lots of aluminum and swiss cheese would be on the order form also. Now my chops are dripping. LOL.

Several years ago-about 1975 I had an opportunity to purchase a blue 62 super duty Grand Prix in Girard Ohio for $2500. Car supposedly won the 1966 AHRA nationals. (I did not verify this) He did however have some 11.60 time slips. He also said had a 63 super duty roller-no motor or trans that he would sell for $400. (never even looked at it) At that time I was making minimum wage and could barely support my 67 goat. I just couldn't scrape up the money. Still would like to find out what happened to those cars.
