1968 Pontiac Firebird Ram Air1 1 of 321 built w/PHS documentation, correct veduro green paint and correct black deluxe interior, not original motor or trans. It currently has a 428 ci w/4 bolt mains, with the original intake on it and I believe the carb to be from a 1967 model, 4 spd. muncie. I have the correct #31 casting cylinder heads but not on this motor. Not a 100 point show car but id say it is in line with a good #3 on the hagerty valuation guide. $39,500 part trades may be considered. For additional info call jim at 817-240-6510
no tire kickers, joy rides or scammers

Are you pursuing it? Curious to know- RA cars are pretty rare... Too bad the motors not the original!

I like that car but its been for sale for a long time now. Both cars are nice but there is a big difference in the cars.

I don't know what it sold for, but the story as I know it (not saying it's correct) is that I first saw that car (in an ad) for sale by that same barn 3 years ago for like 90k. I heard he was offered 80 and turned it down. The market crashed and he was SOL.

I assume he re-posted and obviously took less.

So the car listed for 68 sold for 80? If you got it for 80 where can you go from there down?

Default 68 rai bird

I have a 68 Ram air I firebird that I've been toying with selling. It was restored about 15 years ago but has been stored inside and is still in nice shape. I have a WI block and 731 heads. I do have documentation from PHS showing it as a Ram Air I 4spd car. I don't have the original trans. The original rear is in it but with 3.36 gears. Has all GM sheet metal except hood is fiberglass. None of the ram air parts are there. Was verdoro grn with blk interior. Let me know if you have any interest in this car. Entertaining offers

I have a solid PHS documented 68 HO Firebird 400 4 speed Verdoro Green numbers matching, many NOS parts. 3.55 rear, Bird glass, hood tach, rally gauges, original carb.

Engine is partially torn down for rebuild.

Drive line dates all within 10 days inc water pump, alternator, dist, etc.

Surface rust only, no rot anywhere. Original paint. Can still see some inspection markings. Last plated/registered in California in 1981. Shows 27k on odometer.

Located in Michigan.
