Value of a 12 bolt posi for a 1972 Delta 88?
Today I found a posi 12 bolt from a 1972 Olds Delta 88 convertible for $200. I'm not certain of the gear ratio. I figured if I decided I was serious I'd pop the cover off and see. As soon as I hear posi and 12 bolt, my first thought is "Wow, that's cheap". But, then I get to thinking about the increased width and the larger bolt pattern and am not so sure.
What do you guys think? I don't have a use for it at present, but am always looking for bargains on stuff I might use someday.

My understanding is the type 'O' 12 bolt diff used in full size Oldsmobiles isn't the same as the Chevy 12 bolt that people want for performance use, see this discussion: https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums...xle-id-117494/
