Default 70 Trans Am A/C belts are to short
Hey Guys, I am having a problem with the Quanta reproduction belts. I have ordered the correct part numbers but only the A/C belt is too short. Am I missing something ?? I have also measured the pulleys and the seem to be the correct diameter and all the mounting are factory. HELP ME lol

There were 2 AC systems in 1970 pontiacs. Earlier had a aluminum front brace for pump.
I don't think this ever made it to the Firebird due to its late introduction. I have
Heard of some belt issues though with confusion over the ac type, old vs newer.

How about a picture of your pulley and bracket setup.
