Horn sounds when key inserted
1970 F.B., The horn sounds, properly with no keys in ignition. As soon as key is inserted in ignition,(and not touching the horn button) the horn sounds. If I turn the key to the on position, then the horn stops sounding. I do have a new turn signal switch installed and the spring and horn contact plunger are in place and move freely. This T/A has the stock Formula steering wheel and all related components. Any ideas on what the issue is? Thx.

Is the door open when the horn blows?

Doesn't the horn relay also serve as the key buzzer? It may be an issue with the relay or relay ground.

Yes. The horn is also the buzzer. And there is a ground in the circuit being connected somewhere.
