Vintage Air compressor in a 1933 Pontiac
I plan on adding Vintage Air system to my '33 Pontiac street rod. Unfortunately, the compressor bracket they offer (for a 1965 389 engine) will have the compressor sticking beyond the valve cover by about 3", and it won't fit inside the narrow hood.
I am looking for an alternative which will fit inside the hood., either V-belt or serpentine-driven. I'm sure someone here has done this and can give some guidance.

I took this pic in 2018 at the POCI show in Yorba Linda, CA. It's a Trutrac: https://www.billetspecialties.com/St...stem-pontiac-/
This setup has a very compact footprint. |

Try a bracket from Classic Auto Air. It mounts one of the small compressor in front of the head. I used one in my 1964 GP.
