Mecum Kissimmee has a 73 SD Formula going on Friday, lot F109, white, black deluxe interior, pw, A/C, rear spoiler, honeycombs, no gauges. Looks it has the original polyethylene valance. (wrong year woodgrain gauge faceplate, later model A/C accumulator, wierd A/C wiring, and mssing some emissions stuff). Looks like a nice car.

No factory tach just looks odd.

I can't remember ever seeing an SD car ever not with a tach. I'm not 100% sure but I think with the SD you had to order the complete gauge package as it was a requirement when you got the SD.

On a T/A, yes. On a Formula, no. If you didn't order it, it didn't come. There are a lot of weirdly optioned SD Formulas out there. That's what makes them so unique.

the Dallas area '73 White/Black SD Formula that was overseas most of it's life didn't have the gauge package either. I wondered when I saw that one Steve posted if it was the same car with the T/A wheel flares and spoiler removed.

Wow!.....from Mecum Dallas to Kissimee.

Looks like Mike Pergande's former Brewster is going on the auction block again.

Indeed, such as an "open" rear gear, etc. Weird and cool Formys all @ same time.

A few online carb rebuilders are offering 73-74 SD-455 800 cfm 704xxxx carb Q-Jets. The pictures look like the SD-455 carb, but the fine print says the carb body "may have a different number". Prices are under $300. Obviously too good to be true, so I was wondering if anyone knows what you might actually get, a Frankencarb, or a regular 73-74 750 cfm?

The "we own and operate an OEM restoration shop located in Scottsdale, Arizona" and

The last SD made has a quite a few stamps. Cause? inexperience, and wrong hammer ( not a deadblow)

Rocky's eagle eye's spotted this extra VIN stamping on my block by my Sequence Number and Block Code. I never noticed it in regular lighting. Somehow like capturing pics of ghostly aberrations the pic got snapped at just the right angle and lighting for the numbers to show up.

Most common on SD's - and I think it's safe to say more common than you will find on any other single car.
