Cool stuff, found a couple things myself , some 1960’s promo posters and a Purolator jacket. The theme song of Bonanza has been stuck in my head since I found the posters

The style of that Get Smart poster reminds me of Mad Magazine - I wonder if it was done by one of their artists.

Here's something that is in a storage shed of a house my son is moving into. My research proves it to be a grain scale that was commonly used in the old mercantile stores of the era. It looks like it retains all of the weight discs and even the original square head fasteners that hold it together.
It was pretty dirty before I brushed the bottom of my shoe across it to reveal the dates.

I found a couple of cool items this weekend. I have been on a license plate kick lately but don’t really collect them but found a cool different ones. I use some small chain to put together and decorate as wall hangers.
I also went to our local recycle center to drop off some tree branches and large cardboard boxes. Whike there I went by the scrap metal drop off and spotted this jack practically brand new. I don’t know why someone would put this in the scrap metal pile maybe an angry ex-girlfriend/boyfriend lol

My wife found this on Facebook marketplace. $5. Needs a little cleanup, but in pretty good shape for the money. We’ll probably display it at our weekend rental cottage.

Judging by the label, I’d say it’s got to be from the 50’s. I’ll have to look for a date tomorrow when it’s light out.

I'm going over to the Back to the 50s show at the Minnesota state fairgrounds this weekend - those metal Pic-Nik coolers are a popular item that people bring along to keep their cool beverages in, you'll see them all over the fairgrounds.

Few things I found, went to indoor flea markets, the wife’s favorite places. The place is usually a snooze fest and then my wife tells me some guy came in with a lighted double sided Goodyear sign. The guy wants a 100……..sold.
There was also a weathervane that I wanted but she not think it was old. It has a brass look to it, is it old or not?

I don’t know. But I think that’s cool as heck. I’ve bought a few weather vanes and lightning rods over the years. I showed it to the wife and she couldn’t tell either. She said”If the price is right, and you like it, who cares. “
I took Friday off of work to go up north and hit our favorite thrift stores and resale shops this coming weekend. If I find anything I’ll post it up here.

I have had this for awhile but just now found a spot to hang. Very heavy and awkward to handle. Also have a big oval American Oil sign but one at a time.
