Default Dash accessories restoration

Hi all,

I'm hoping for some words of wisdom from the group on how best to restore the dash accessories.. Bezels, vents, etc. I am sending the dash off to justdashes this week, but I feel like restoring just the pad itself and not the accessories will not provide the pop. Most of the plastic parts are reproduced. This is a fairly original judge, not sure how big of a deal it is to throw reproduction bezels, etc on it - or if there is a place I could send all this stuff to?

There's quite a bit when you figure the three gauge surrounds, 2 vents on either side, the heater bezel.

Looking for any advice from those who graduated from the school of hard knocks on this.

Thanks!

Default Dash

I replaced most everything with new. the result was a nice crisp look. new lenses, bezels etc. freshened up the speedo myself. kept the original stuff just for the sake of not tossing it , but its pretty dirty and dingy.

It all depends on the condition of the original parts and what your goals are.

Some repro stuff (like the side vent bezels) are really nice and just about undetectable from original. Other stuff like the woodgrain inlay is way off from factory original.

Do you want your interior to look new or would you rather go for the original survivor look by tweaking just the parts that are in worse shape than the rest of the interior?
