1150 dominator sell price
I am thinking of selling my list number 9377 1150cfm dominator. It has quick jet change bowls on it as well. I just pulled it off my running car to put on a 950 cfm Holley. It ran fine but at cruise and idle ran rich. Not rich enough to foul plugs, but it was rich enough to smell. I want to list it for a fair price.

Over the winter, I saw some down in the 300 range. Depends on which one you have, and the time of year.
Good luck with the sale.

If it was prettied up, Sprayed Carb Cleaner, sprayed around the outside and inside of the carb, it would draw more $$$.
Basic 2 circuit carb which is fine. Right now the carb is worth $350-$400 and could be worth (as posted) $500 - $600 if it was rebuilt properly. Tom V.

350-500 seems to be the going rate for the old style 1150's. I picked up an old style 9375 for 300 years ago. Runs great.

I figure I will put it up for $500 on here and on some local boards. I sold my 1050 for $425 so I think that is in the ball park. Thank you for all the help.

I have other parts I will be selling as well when I get in my storage unit. I have a Wenzler tunnel ram with a top for 2 4500 or 2 4150 carbs depending on what top you use. I also have all kinds of roller cams I accrued unfortunately I don’t have specs on them now so I will have to figure those out. I know I bought them from various racers like Mike Davis and others over the years. Trying to get rid of parts I probably won’t use anymore.

Since, I assume, you bought the carb new, 9377 1150cfm dominator, is the 11.69 at 115 the quickest you ran with the carb?
Or was the carb purchased by someone else and you bought it from them. Tom V.

That time was actually ran with an 850. I bought this carb from someone I know. They bought it new and had it on a Tempest with a 469 that ran high 9s if I remember correctly.

High 9s should not be an issue for a 3 circuit carb with the third circuit inlet tube in the metering block main well.
Now if you were trying to run in the 8s, a conversion to a 2 circuit design, (get rid of the third circuit that hampers fuel flow thru the main wells of a Dominator carb, then the conversion makes sense. This requires metering block changes and other mods. Tom V.

I’ll offer $300 since it needs work, if you are interested in letting it go as is.

about $300 is what I paid for a 9377 years back. I sent it to ProSystems for a rebuild. Ran great

What did you pay for the Pro Systems rebuild on your carb, R 70 Judge?
