Default +060 400 trw/speed pro dished pistons and rods

slightly used pistons and rods (stock). 4.180ish piston diameter. i will measure the dish later today and take some pictures Good for small chamber d port heads and pump gas and save that old 400 block or turbo builds with upgraded rods.
These pistons barely show any scatches in the skirts. rod and main bearings show perfect. I got them in a bunch of parts, so i will do my best to answer any questions i can, with pictures and measurements. block that came with these is no good from pitting in cylinders. i assume with the pstions out, as they are near perfect.
$200 plus shipping

Dish is 2.75 x .165” still some
Valve relief showing so above plus half the relief. Rods appear to have been resized with new bolts. Here is a random piston I grabbed and cleaned up real quick. Should
Be pretty representative of the set.

Is that a dimple in the end of the rod bolt? or the letter "C" as you thought earlier???

Could these not also be advertised as .030+ 455 pistons?

Pin Height on a 3.75 stroke crank will be about 1.715" compression height.
(How far down the center of the piston pin is vs the top of the piston).

455 Engines have a compression height about 1.495" so a big change due to the longer stroke of the 455 crank.

The rod length would have to be .220 longer so stock rod is 6.625 + .220 New rod would need to be about 6.845 length.
You could cut the block deck .045" but for that much block machining and the cost of the 6.8" long rods, may not be the best solution.

Did you ever check the dish on one of the pistons for a reference?

math says dish should be in the 16 cc range dish. I can do a quick pour to get a little confirmation if you are really interested
