Default Exhaust cutouts

Son-in-law just about has me convinced to add cutouts to the wagon project. I've had a QuickTime system on the street GTO and it was fine with no major problems. Was about ready to order out the Summit brand but the Digipower USA cutouts look interesting - anyone tried them? Video shows blazing fast opening and closing but don't know if that's just a video production trick. Here's the Summit listing: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/dgp-30307

Looks like they come with a stainless flange where the proper oval section would be cut out of the existing 3" pipe. Guess if I took my time I could get a good match on attaching the flange. Existing pipe is standard coated mild steel - any problem with mig'ing on their stainless flange with standard wire or do I need to tack it in place and get the muffler shop to finish it up? Just finished up having the exhaust installed and the shop did a great job.

"I've had a QuickTime system on the street GTO and it was fine with no major problems."

why change? i know 2 guys (3 from your experience) who have had no issues with quicktime cutouts.

the 2 i know have been in use for 5 and 7 years now. with cars that get driven alot.

I've always wanted to go that route but it just hasnt risen to the top of list haha

LOL after watching the links vid they look nice! Clockable on both ends. If your a techie the phone app looks like a cool feature.
