Default Rainproofing a deck

Looking for some simple ideas. I have a typical two-story house with a deck on the second floor. I just want the patio underneath the deck to be a bit more usable when it rains. Not sure if this is a good or bad idea. I already live in a poor drainage area don’t want to make it any worse !
Thanks!

There is a system sold that is installed on the underneath side of the deck that carries the water to a perimeter futter system.

Corrugated panels set with a slight pitch with a gutter on the low end.
Then run a downspout into a french drain or collection barrel to reuse water for plant watering.
