Default Adding power steering to a 1964 GTO ??

Going to look at a 64 GTO tomorrow to do some work on for a local guy. The exhaust got ripped off somehow. So I’m fixing that for him and some leaks and odds and ends. He did ask about putting power steering on it. The engine brackets won’t be a problem the car has a 69 428 in it currently. My question is will it need a different pitman arm for a power steering box? Thanks

Yes it requires a different pitman arm, shaft coming out of box is larger. 75 bucks at Ames.. S107W
