Default 1970 Firebird 4 speed Boot Install

Hi Guys,

I converted my automatic to a 4 speed and getting ready to install my carpet. Can some one tell me the order of install on the 4-speed boots without console?

From floor up, I believe it's:
Floor pan
Lower boot
Carpet
Upper boot
And then trim ring
Fastened by screws

The upper boot, on the bottom edge has a lip like it wraps around something. Does the edge of the carpet go in there?

Thanks a lot for any help or pictures.

PY cuts the resolution down on pics, but I don't really see where the carpet comes in.
I would do as your list shows.

I could send the pic by email, clearer pic.

This might get more traffic if in the 70-73 Firebird section?

Sans CONSOLE, it installs as you said. With Console carpet isn't involved as its cut and not at that location, but out near edges on console. If you installed the "Porch" in the right location, should be fine.
