Good luck,Scotty. Most of the '64s I've seen in this area(mine included) are either
Liberty Blue or Black. The ONLY Sunfire Red one I've seen for sale was at a "rebuildable"
yard in South Carolina. It looked OK...needed alot of TLC.

Too bad you didn't ask for a Bonnie,There is a beautiful one partially restored in the BIG CARS FOR SALE section, too far restored for your wants, but it is a rare color. My buudy from "high" school,a golfing guy teammate's dad bought him a new 64 Lemans in Sunfire Red,Black interior,auto,etc..It was a beautiful car. Hope you find one,Scottie all the best bigpoop P.S DISCLAIMER: THIS IS -NOT -INTENDED TO BE, useful information, nor is it intended to be in any way, shape, or form worth reading. I am incapable of providing useful anything.

Dear Allthebestbigpop:

Thank you for that useful information. That '64 Bonneville is a fabulous-looking car with the best color for '64, in my opinion.

Thing is, a '64 Bonneville convertible is not a particularly rare car, in my opinion.

All the best,

Scott M.

Yep,you are right, not particularly rare at all. But,it is my favorite 64 color ,too,as mentioned in my BLURB.And I like 64's lines.
Oh,and I thought it was AllthebestbigpoOp,are we bonding,Scottie? God,I can only wish. Hope you find one,I'll keep an eye out.I do find unusual cars every now and then.
It would help if you gave me your definition,of project so I don't waste time looking.

I saw that car.

You've done a fabulous job on it, by the way.

However, it's way out of my range, especially in this economy.

I'm not really a fan of the 59-64 full size convertible body styles.

I understand Scott, I just wanted you to know that it was still available. I should have the title for it in the next few weeks and then it's going back on ebay

Do you have a link to the post here on PY where it's for sale? I can't find it.

I was looking to lift the pics of your restoration, just to have handy.
