Question 1969-70 Grand Prix Frame

Anybody have interest in a solid frame? I'll list some pics if there's interest, it would be the frame only, cheap $200.

Steve: Usuall rust around the mount holes? I know someone who needs a 69 frame, both of mine that I have are pretty thin at the body mounts, as usual. 69 frame has flat pads for motor mounts bolts from bottom up, 70 frame has perches that the bolt goes through running front to rear. can post pics if you like.

Yes Keith, passenger side outboard hole shows some rot and the drivers side is thinner, nothing some welded washers wouldn't fix, R/front horn a little tweaked on the end. Some weird things with the frame, who ever had it before had duck taped the side holes and coated it with a resin (all peeled off now) and it's from New Hampshire so it's not all full of sand and salt like a NY frame. Pretty cool seeing how they put them together with the thicker steel for the front and side sections and thinner toward the rear, these cars definitely had alot of weight on the front. Would'nt the frame be the same you'd just have the cut off the '69 motor brackets and mount the '70?

Somehow you can even convert them to A body convertible frames, but I'm not sure where they cut.
This is similiar to the two I have lying here, I"ll check it against the 70 frame to see what else might be different. Motor mount conversion wouln't be a problem.

Have all side glass except drivers (light scratches) also the harness minus the power window section and switches.
