Question 4L80E VALVE BODY

Anybody know where I can get a cheap replacement 92-96 4L80 Valve Body
I picked up a full manual shift 92 model 4l80 transmission, and want to return it to electronic with a semi manual trans go #2 shift kit, as opposed to the #3 kit fitted to it. The valve body has been modified to the extent you cannot reverse the work, so I need a new valve body, and being downunder, these auto boxes are rare and spares are nowhere to be found.

How soon do you need one?

If right now, try Steve at ShiftRight down here in Richmond, NSW. He does a few 4L80e boxes and may have one laying around as some of his tougher boxes all get RMVB+Transbrake billet valve bodies. If you're not needing for a few months I may be getting a D3 valve body from Jakes, but it's not cost effective to send him my VB as a core so want him to supply me one, so the stocker I pulled out of mine may be for sale next year.

Thanks Krisr, I will keep it in mind, I was also looking at a D1 from Jakes, but he's not cheap.

No he sure isn't. But I am planning to use Jakes for my 4L80 project. I have talked with their tech assistance and although I haven't purchased from them yet, they were very helpful.

When you factor in AUD/USD exchange rate + shipping something halfway around the world, we pay pretty much double what local folks pay there in the US - hence why it's expensive for us.
