Default Temperature switch male end connectors and wiring

Hi,
I am wondering what I should be seeing on the wire harness for connectors that attach to the passenger side temperature switch. ('72 455 HO - auto). I have a blue wire with a spade connector that is running from the TCS solenoid to the temp switch, but the other end is a generic spade connector. Same deal with the yellow wire - in the car's past, someone soldered a spade connector to it too.
Finally, I have one additional yellow wire that broke off of "something" - I think the wire came off of the black wire on the TCS solenoid connector. Looking at the schematic I don't see two yellow wires.
Thank-you!
-Andrew
