She is one lucky lady. White on Ivory and a lot of smoking tires!

Mine is well behind schedule, but thanks for asking.

Tell her I just changed the title with her name on it still, and got antique plates for it today. Talk about taking my time.

Nothing in the way of HotRod or Musclecar. Everything is packed back for now. Planning on getting my 66 Vert out this Spring and do a spruce up and drivetrain swap. Then drive it like a maniac for rest of life.

94 Trans Sport Van daily driver just parked for leaking water pump. Gotta fix that soon.
Parked a nice little 84 4cyl Fiero in 98 due to stripped cam gear (some kinda compressed cardboard fiber gear). Need to drop that engine and fix it - and get that 35 mpg again.

Just hanging in limbo mostly.

Bud kills ambition everytime. So thats where the Fiero reference is from. Guys are putting 6 speeds in them now, have you seen that? What drivetrain you planning for the 66... is it a GTO?
Lloyd, I build my own stuff and can only aspire to Dan and Marks efforts. The white car will have M40 in it so she can race it on friday nights at the local drags. The starting line has a bit of an incline so you roll back out of the lights in a stick car with no line-lock!
Mike , so the title is still in her name?? Thanks for storing it all this time...can we come pick it up this weekend? LOL

I've always built my own stuff as well, Todd.

However, Mark and Dan are making SO much torque and power with their PSMCDR builds that I'm gonna let them build my next deal - when I can save up enough coin that is!

LoL !

Yessir 66 GTO Vert, Trip Blk, WS 3x2, 4spd, 3.55 posi, and some Deluxe Options. Pulling ALL the original drivetrain to preserve. Have had this Jewel a long time. Drove it 3 times just to see what was what about it - then stored it back. Needs a general cosmetic resto, and engine is tired/smoking/ticking - as it was when I bought it.

It's going to get a stroked/long rod 455 4bolt build. 7F6 round holes. Ported 3x2 Intake sans exh cross over. R/A exh manifolds. 5 spd Doug Nash. Lakewood bellhouse. 12 bolt 3.08 posi. At least front disc conversion - aiming for 4 wheel disc conversion. New interior kit, and a few more options added. Hoping to retain 14x6 Rally 1's. Want it to give off the innocent/pampered Car impression - but kill like a hungry Tiger. Clear the damm road MF'r !

Plan to drive it until death do us part, or something like that. My favorite Car in the world - down to the color combo.

I went out this last weekend for the first time since making two passes last fall at 12.25.

Off the trailer it was running about 12.50 ish; I think the slow down was the weather. The 12.25 was a very cool dry fall night, and this weekend was humid and warm.

Anyway, I tweaked on timing for the best at 36 total but it didn't help the time. Then I started to move the pump cams and whamo.

There was a car here in Tulsa at the Pontiac Spring Nationals that just blew me away.

88K original paint 4bbl OHC6, the car was UNREAL. And for sale at 22K, I would have bought it in a second if I had that kind of cash laying around.

Steve your going to shoot me but, I made a '67 GTO clone out of a 36K mile OHC6 sprint back in 82. The car was red with white interior 4 speed bench seat. Bought it for 500 and sold the engine for 150. Sold the GTO clone in 85 to buy a wedding ring, I still have her.....DW

I know, we've all done stupid stuff like that.

But now I would give anything to have a prime OHC6; short of the fact I can't support 3 hot rods because of my ex wife.

I was suprised to see I'm not too far from daylight under the front tires.

Your front stabilizer makes that picture look like it might have a straight axle..put a fiberglass or plastic front bumper on it and I'll bet you do see daylight.
That's a pretty cool picture! ...DW

Steve, you should paint the frame to bumper brackets black..The silver sticks out too much through the grilles...

Steve, what happened to the Firebird you and the Mrs. were building?

This GTO missing any trim or other interior part you need?

Ive got a building full of parts I acquired and owe you one for whatever part that was you covered the shipping on.

Let me know what you need. Payback.
Jeff

There were many other harder hitting 69's there, plenty ripping the wheels.

Rob are you crazy? Most people complain about the yellow radiator support.

Jeff, the Firebird is live and well and will be out for a burn off contest next weekend. I do need one of the 4 back window trims on the Bird but not sure which yet. That would be nice.
