Default Onstar mirror wiring

Anyone with a 2008 vintage service manual have a wiring diagram for the rear view mirror with onstar, map lite, compass.

Thanks, George

If you're chasing the onstar portion of the mirror, I am pretty sure it communicates through the BCM and radio;
I have a 2009 Cobalt SS (sedan) that I have brought back to stock from pretty decent disrepair ect - and one of my persistent issues is that the XM antenna isn't seen;
I have:
"DIGITAL RADIO RECIEVER - NO COMMUNICATION"

"VEHICLE COMMUNICATION INTERFACE MODULE
B1001 SYMPTOM 46
OPTION CONFIGURATION ERROR"

"VEHICLE COMMUNICATION INTERFACE MODULE
B2476 SYMPTOM 04
CELLULAR PHONE SELECT SERVICE SWITCH OPEN CIRCUIT"

I share this incase I am barking up the same tree as you;
I bought a full set of factory service manuals for a 2009 Cobalt shortly after I bought my coupe - if there is a diagram there, I would be happy to share it.

I may have stumbled on a reset that I never tried that may fix it, but I have tried chasing wires, and cannot identify an issue - but the car did have the factory deck pulled, and the factory xm/onstar system disabled for garbage aftermarket stuff when I got it.

Hi..thanks for the response.

I have a 2008 mirror from an HHR and it has Onstar, etc. and courtesy lights, which I need to replace the old mirror in my Caddy Allante. I have been able to find most of the wiring used except pin 1 in the harness I have; most sources i found don't show pin 1. This wire is gray in the HHR and I believe it's use is the interior lights. I don't care about the Onstar functionality, which seem to be pins 11, 12 14 and 15 which actually connect to the external radio,/ cell interface.

If your manual shows the pinout i would appreciate a copy. Please send me a private message and I'll send my email address to you. Sorry, I can't help with your error messages.

Thanks in advance.

george
