Default New engine wiring harness

We're replacing the engine harness in our '67 LeMans. The old one is done.

What's the difference between a wiring harness set up for a Ram Air motor and one that's not? We're not sure if we will put the Round Port engine in with the Ram Air exhaust manifolds, but would like to have it ready if we do. Also, is it a proprietary harness for a car with Cruise Control?

IIRC...it's set up for different routing for the Ram Air manifolds.

The starter wires on a standard harness run down through a tube between the #5 and #7 exhaust manifold. The ram air wiring runs to the front of the motor down and back through a tube attached to the motor mount if I remember right. Where are you going to get your harness from? I used M&H for all of my harnesses. You can contact them about the cruise control harness as I am not familiar with that one.

I just received a complete harness kit for my 66 last Week, from Lectric Limited INC, they're out of Bedford Park IL , ph 708 563 0400. Their harnesses pass NCRS judging and this will be the 4th car I've rewired using their products, excellent quality!
