Default 94 TA Radio controls on Steering Wheel

Please Help solve this issue - Radio controls on steering wheel are not working suddenly AND Airbag light is on. Both happened at same time. What could be the cause of these problems? Related to each other? Any input greatly appreciated.

Not to hijack I have the same prob with mine, but just the steering controls are not operable.......after long term storage.
Just haven't had the time to look into it yet. Any leads would be great!

I'm pretty sure the radio buttons use the same type of ring with contact that a typical horn uses. I would pull the steering wheel and clean those contacts. The air bag very well may be the same.
