Default Front Parking Brake Removal

My 1977 Trans Am is mostly rust-free, however the parking brake cable is pretty badly rusted through. I'm struggling to figure out how to remove it. Specifically where it goes through the floor immediately in front of the driver's seat. The rust there is making it very difficult to figure out how it's attached at that location. Could someone please enlighten me?

If it is like the one on my 67 GTO there are tabs that have to be compressed to push it through the floor.

Figured it out, there's a threaded nut under the car that needs o be removed. That's what holds the cable in place. It was too badly rusted for me to realize it was a nut. I'm replacing the cable with a stainless steel one, so hopefully this won't ever be an issue again
