Default 1966 GP rear brake backing plates

I plan to buy two new rear brake backing plates for my 1966 GP. It appears that all 1966 (and 1965 and 67) Pontiacs - except Tempests - used the same rear brake backing plates. Is this correct?

I could sand blast and clean up the ones I have but they are in really lousy condition.

Thanks

My experience with multiple 1965 & 1966 (B Body only), rear brakes has been the backing plates are exactly the same. 8 lug and regular brakes. No difference at all.

I've never played with any 1967 brakes so I cant be sure if they are also the same

70ra455:

I would actually prefer used originals if they were in decent shape. I need two rear brake backing plates that will fit a big 1966 Pontiac. But it does seem as if all 1966 Pontiacs - other than Tempests - used the same backing plate. Let me know the details - I live in the 77061 (Houston) area code.

These came from a 66 Grand Prix. Are they front or rear?

$50 for the pair plus shipping.

Those are front brake backing plates and are not the same as the rear brake backing plates.
