Anytime you can beat a rail in a bracket race its a good day, they are tough. They start out as a little blip in your rear view mirror , then fly past you near the stripe. Getting that win light against one in the finals is always good.
The 9.0 type are the toughest to beat. Little 550 HP sbc engine, giant tires, they could not blow them off if they wanted too. At least the big boy rails can blow there tires off and can have a issue.
They have all the electronics too, take off last, all the advantages. Nice win.

I don't know what he was doing. His stage light went on and I started bringing the rpms up then his stage light went off so I just backed off the rpms and waited. He might have had a problem thats why he had a bad light. Who knows. I was in a zone all night on the tree so that didn't rattle me.
I am using a trans brake and delay box. I don't get on the 2-step till I release the trans brake button. I do bring the rpms up to about 2000 before I release the button. Seems to go on the 2-step cleaner.

I have been playing golf for almost 30 yeas and never had a hole in one, You know after the perfect run and the win I played golf the next day and was a 1/2" from a hole in one. I would have been afraid of something bad coming if it went in. Don't want to use up all my luck. Need some for the index race Saturday.

I got ripped from a hole in one once. Hit a 8 iron 165 yards to a up hill par 3. My tee shot hit the back of the hole, even made a 1/2 circle dent 2'' down the hole. And popped our 6" from the flag.
At least I made birdie !

Same here,,,been playing 30+ years and the closest has probably been 18" from the hole on a par 3. Closest at the track has been a .002 package. I hope they at least announced over the intercom that you had just got a perfect run.
