Randy has fine fine, well thought out combo.
Its apples to oranges with a un-ported Victor vs 2 piece race intake though.
How mild is his cam ? Do you know what his static CR is ? MPH ?
He did his homework for his combo that is for sure.
How about u answer those questions about that engine.. u brought it up? What's his static compression, cam,and mph? Could that ehead motor make a 1000 mile trip and race?
U brought it up so let's hear it? Ur story bud.

Congratulations!! Saw this on Facebook as well, great job for all involved, it's not an easy event, and to win with a Pontiac is awesome!

Scott, I have already given the man his props. I do not remember all the specs from Krulls engine but I am sure is was not a a 1000 mile cruse engine and was on nuts. Do a search if you like.
Kinda interested in Randys cam and CR because if he did it with a pretty small cam that really would be impressive.
Those old E head combos had over .800 lift big duration. Would probably beat themselves do death on 1000 mile drive .

Tell us how you really feel, lol.
I agree though. I hope to find out next year how hard it is.

The question was asked for a very good reason, to learn something.
Just how far can you push CR in a engine like his, modern EFI and all that these days ? Because I do not know.
More info on a Pontiac forum about these Drag Week engines is what this place is all about.
Randy's effort is a fine one.
