Looks like one of K & Ns special conical ones.
I know there E 3520 is 9x7x 3.5” high and cost about 60 bucks.

its 3.5" tall...the small ID is 9" and the large end is 12.5". basically a squashed standard filter.

Sure it’s a k&n? Looks like the air raid the ptfb drop base comes with.

Call him or send an email. He will sell you just the filter. I looked for a good while and came up empty on a part number. Wondering if it’s a custom made deal. Wanna say it’s was close to a hundo when I asked about it.

It’s the Airaid Concept II filter. I don’t believe they make them anymore, but you can find them on eBay. They come in different heights, so you should double check that.

Like was mentioned. It's was made by Airaid. They no longer make them. I have one on my 76 Trans am. Nice filter as it rides up inside the shaker with a few small mods. I do have a new larger one I'm not using and would sell. part # is 801-456

I sprang for the one from ptfb. next time I may just get a paper element that fits. kinda pricey but I'm hoping this next one lasts. they are just cotton.

Wasnt' there a thread recently about how some** of these drop base filters rob huge HP??

I don't want to steal OP's thread - but anyone that has a link, that'd be great..
