Default It's about time!!

It's about time!! This is the first summer since 2006 that I've had my '70 finished enough to take out to a few shows. Most of the bugs are worked out and now i can actually trust the gas gauge!
Besides, what else can I do on a blistering hot day but sit out in a dusty field for 6 hours to win a $4 plaque.

For the curious, this is a Van Nuys RAIII, M21 & 3.73 combo.

Sweet! Still working the bugs out of mine too. Seems like something new crops up each week.

What events did you go to? I had mine out to the Firebird/Camaro show in Issaquah last weekend

Wanted to hit the XXX Show but chose to stay closer to home with a small local show. Furthest north I've been this year is Griots in Tacoma. Did the Lucky Eagle Casino show in Rochester, several in Chehalis, Napavine, Yelm & Kalama.

At 10.6 MPG and 5.89.9 a gallon for Chevron Premium Clear, I decided to stay closer to home. Also, with the 3.73 gears, only 55 MPH is 3200 RPM!! I keep looking for that O.D. button!

I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I wouldn't mind seeing a few more pics of that car.

Thanks for the kind words. The car actually photos better than it appears in person. It was painted in 1982 by the original owners father "as a favor" when the son was off to police academy. They took only three days! All jambs and the trunk were back-taped, so they are in original spray. Acrylic enamel with a hardener was used and then clear coated the whole shebang,...including decals. So compared to todays glass smooth finishes, it's quite "orange-peely". But otherwise, I'm still impressed with it's originality. For example, the entire interior still has it's born with pieces.
Someone mentioned maybe more pics. Anything in particular you'd like to see?
