Post Please Double Check my Research- Engine ID by the numbers

I think I have this right, But I've been out of the hobby for awhile so I'd like y'all to double my interpretation.
I believe this Engine is a 67 400 HO, Manual Trans.
WS on the front.
Build Date Code L296
Thanks for looking, and let me know if there is anything else I should look at.

Yes, 1967 400 HO manual trans for GTO. Nice!
Left hand exhaust manifold for this is #9777646 and is unique to the 67 GTO.

Thank you for verifying the information.
I don't have the complete engine, just the short block.
Any idea of what something like this is worth on the market?
This came in a package deal with other parts, The Cylinders are .030 over and so is the crank.
The cam shaft had no identifying marks, I could barely read a J7J on it, but it was so lightly stamped, it wouldn't photograph.

They did not stamp the Vin in the block in 67 so that makes it highly desirable for anyone needing a HO block. I would hold out for at least $750, but that's just me and I am no expert. Could be worth more.
