Stimulus check?
Just did a quick search & didn't see a thread about this.
Just wondering how many here have received their $1400 ?  My sister got hers nearly a month ago. We still haven't received ours.  We got the $600, by direct deposit, before lots of people got their $600. Our bank says they get direct deposits every Wednesday. They say that for this $1400, they can see no "rime nor reason" why some have already got theirs & some haven't. They say it's not alphabetical, nor by age. They don't know how it's being decided who gets paid, when. According to info in this article, we MIGHT get ours April 7. https://fox8.com/news/stimulus-check...%20HEAD%20HERE. |

Have friends that have received it and others that haven't. One thing we figured out is that everyone that filed their 2019 taxes received their checks while those that didn't file haven't received anything. I filed 2019 but haven't filed yet for 2020 and did receive mine. An odd side note is the first check arrived in the mail, the second payment was basically a debit card in the mail, and our third payment went directly into my checking account. Really don't see any rhyme or reason for the three payment methods to us.

The rules changed for this stimulus check. Not saying that you aren't getting one, but we no longer qualified based on the new rules.

We received a letter a month ago our $1200(not $1400) would arrive by 4/1. Not holding breath yet...

I never got the second one, got the first. So this one, who knows. I have mixed feelings on these, and I would rather see mine go to others.

I did my Fed and State 2019 taxes in mid March. At the end it said we'd get our Stimulus check by 3/25 for 1200, and I checked receive by mail. We got our money about 3/27 deposited in the bank for 1400 each.
Even tho the Fed return says 1200, you will or should get 1400. But I believe you need to fill out and submit your 2019 Fed return to get it. Turbo Tax Free online is how I've done ours for close to 12 years.

Wife got her $600. I did not. She also got her $1400. I did not. I went to that website and they locked me out twice for the wrong PW. The one they gave me...First time they said they couldn't verify who I am. I'm drawing a Military pension, same address for 22 years, same phone for the last 6 years, same email for the last 20 years... I guess I'm well hidden!

Got the first one as a check.
Got the third one as a debit card. Almost threw it away because I thought it was a junk mail card. Never got the second one, but maybe it came as a debit card and I threw it away. I have an appointment in early May to file my 2020 taxes. I'll ask my accountant about my second stimulus payment when I see him. |

Y'all know my story. 2019 federal return was stolen and a false return filed and the first stimulus check was sent to the thief who had set up direct deposit. I didn't see the second check either and can't get any info from the Government website about the third one. If and when we do get the 2019 refund and all three stimulus checks we are going to prepay our funeral expenses.
