Default tire sizes

Will a 275x40x17 0n a 9inch wheel with a 5inch. backspace fit on a 70 T/A without modification to body

I have not selected the wheels for this car . but leaning towards Year One rally 2s

Has anyone used a 10inch wheel in rear with a bigger tire

Thanks

Possibly rubs the sway bar at full lock, if nothing else. Mine has modified steering with extra lock than standard and a 245 R15 would rub without modifying the stops. Not the best to go by obviously. Now has the popular 255 R17 but not driven to check how much extra.
