Thumbs up '74 400 4-SPEED

Decided to list my T/A on ebay. I'm looking for a '74 Firebird, Formula, or Esprit driver as a partial trade.

Board members get priority with me.

Very impressive car. I really liked the TTA you had listed as well. Wish I could talk my wife into a 3rd gen; I love the TTA's but she doesn't like 3rd gens.

Good luck with the sale. Hate to see a nice original car leave the area.

Thumbs down Damn ebay

ebay pulled the auction, here's their reasoning...

"Unfortunately, we had to remove your listing because the following information violates our policy:

"Payment must be in cash "

Here's some more information about our cash payments policy:

Your listing was brought to our attention because you offered a "cash" as a payment option without specifying that cash will only be accepted in person. Please note that anytime Cash is mentioned in the description, it must clearly state that the seller will accept cash in person, at pickup, on delivery, etc. This policy helps ensure that buyers and sellers on eBay are offered safe, convenient payment options.

Sellers aren't permitted to accept cash payments through the mail because they're difficult to track and can get lost. Online payments help assure that sellers get paid, and that neither the buyer nor seller loses money. Cash payments are only acceptable for in-person payments and cash-on-delivery (CoD). Whenever cash is accepted, the listing should make it clear that payment can't be sent through the mail."

Thanks for all the interest in the car, it is the most original '74 T/A (or classic car for that matter) I've ever seen.

I'm going to list it again this Thursday.

I tried to convince my wife that we need a 74 to complete our collection. We're missing the 4 in our 2,4,6,8,0 pattern. She didn't go for it.

Hard to beat a nice original 400/4spd.

Thumbs up It's back!

Well, I have the car on epay again. Had to wait for the snow to melt from the back yard. Hopefully epay likes my wording this time and lets the auction run.

This is an amazing car, I'm selling it in order to get a driver '74 that I can leave dirty without feeling guilty about it.

Yes, that is one of the 15 base model TTAs made. I sold it 2 months ago after 4 years of caretaking.

Thanks for the kind words, it truly is an amazing car and I'll be sad to see it go. Too bad you can't keep them all I guess.
