Default 1970 Grand Prix 8 track floor bracket

Looking for the bracket for the 8 track in a 70 Grand Prix with console. This is the bracket behind the console and is welded to the floor. It is different between console or not and Gto

Are you sure the bracket is welded to the floorpan?
I had a cassette player version - I was going to install it in my 72 GP in the early 90s - I sold it with the car. The bracket had 4 holes in it.
When I have seen installations, there are 4 sheet-metal screws that go right through the carpet and into the floorpan.

The bracket is not easy to find (not a common option) but there should be one out there - or at least one that could be measured so a bracket could be fabricated.

Yes, the GTO with console bracket is different.

Here's what you need. They sell just the floor bracket too.
