Default One bucket list item checked off

I drove the Lemans from Port Charlotte Florida to Boone NC last week for the Boone Bike Rally.

No major issues there and back, I did have to stop once because of heat boiling off fuel. I just grabbed a meal, let the engine cool down then back on the road.

Great group of people there to have some adult fun, no kids, no dogs, no colors, no trouble.

I don't ride motorcycles anymore but everyone at the rally thought I was crazy but cool to drive the Lemans to the rally.

Sitting in those vinyl seats for 12 hours each way was not the most comfortable so I will be driving local from now on.

That's what it's all about! Knocking down miles in a classic is something that cant be beat, and I wish more people did it. I'm always floored when someone has an awesome car and say they only drive it a few times a year.

Thanks, it was an awesome trip. I will post some more pics. Some I can't due to the adult themes and respect for the gals who decided to precipitate but probably don't want their wares all over the net.

I used to be the one who only drove the car every so often but since it's not a show queen or professionally restored, I decided that after all the time and money that was put into it, I will drive it as much as possible. It looks nice in the garage but better through the windshield.
