Default Pate Swap Meet, Texas Motor Speedway, April 25 - 28

http://pateswapmeet.com/

I share a dozen spaces with 2 friends. I sell early 60's Tempest and FS parts as well as late 60's and early 70's BBF engine parts. Darrell sells used, new and restored GTO parts. Kevin sells a broad range of NOS Pontiac parts.

Look for us at the end of the short row near the grass in Zone 3.

Good seeing you at Decatur today. Sorry I brought Ford stuff. I'll have a trailer full of Pontiac parts at Pate.

If I get it running, I may bring a '63 Tempest 326 3 spd Sport Coupe to sell at this event. Will be in our spaces, not the car corral.

Weather is looking good. I'll be there Wednesday morning 4/24 at 8AM. If you live within 500 miles of TMS you should come out... and bring lots of cash.

Good to see you Dave and Darrell. Bob and I went on Friday rather than Saturday like we usually do. We thought maybe some of the better finds were being snatched up before we usually get there. Well Bob found a steering column he wanted but it was already sold! Told him if we would have been there on Saturday he would have never knew he missed it, lol. I scored a nice qjet core, larger cfm, front inlet, apt, and the idle solenoid and bracket for a/c.
Also, was surprised to see as many Pontiacs as there were in the car corral. Three FGF's, wow.

Good job guys. I didn't walk the meet at all. Focused on unloading unwanted junk... and I did. Left a lot of chebby freebies behind, but was able to sell a mix of tools, chebby, ford and misc. Not much Pontiac stuff, but I didn't take much. Just enough to pick up a few new local buyer contacts. If I get inventory done, parts listed online, parts sold at POCI/Norwalk this summer... I might actually get to work on some of my projects enough to get something done. WooHoo!

I spotted this jewel and had to take a pic. Nice but I just didn't have 5 bills to burn.

Yeah, screw that. The last parts car I bought was just a little over that much.
