Question ID REQUIRED

Clearing out Bins and this group was bagged but not tagged.
It was in my TRANSMISSION bin, But have no recollection of were/what it came from.

Looks like a shifter mounting plate but don't recall what I pulled it from.

It would be either 1966 or '67 and likely OHC related?
Any assist greatly appreciated.

Thumbs down

I checked my box of 3 speed column shifter parts and it does not go with a 1966.
I have the entire assembly and it looked like a part but it's not. Sorry. AZ

This looks like the adapter bracket for mounting the OHC Drive Line Damper weight to the back of a manual gearbox. In my '69 Service Manual it is shown on page 7C-8. Earlier service manuals may well be similar page ident. Part number would be 9789560. If this is right, don't throw it out! I may need one (or dimensions) for a planned auto to 4-speed swap.

Thumbs up SPOT ON

Made sense after I saw your post.
I parted a '69 Sprint engine w/MT and
this is all that's left.

THX.

Well, Jeff, if that's all that's left I should probably buy that stuff from you, as I'd need to make something up anyway.

Ken I think I still have only the counter weight from my old 69 sprint Tempest if you are interested, let me know and I will look for it, basicly you would just have to pay shipping as its kinda heavy. Let me know
