Default Formula wheel horn contact pin kit

So I got the whole kit to convert my 70 GTO from the standard steering wheel to a formula. It came with a horn contact pin kit which is pin, spring and a plastic retainer. The retainer sent is a twist lock type. I took my wheel apart and my retainer is a push in friction type with a rib in the middle. There are horn pin kits available with the type of retainer my car has. Maybe the kit from Ames should have both types of retainers? OER makes a kit # 748741 for a visual.
