That'll be a good dog. full of piss an vinegar like a Lab should be.

Ours is named, by my wife, Little Black Sambo.

Wanna guess what color he is?

Name him Lucky, he's lucky you found him.

Mike

Doesn't he have a Name already? I'm all for adopting Dogs from rescue, but I don't like it if an Adult dog already had a Name and people change it. Just don't think it's right, that animal is stressed enough, being in jail, losing it's original family, going to a new environment different food, a new routine, then getting a new name too. JMO.

In my life I have had at least 12 dogs. I usually name them based on how they look and act. If I had to name that dog based on a picture I would say he looks like a Bruno.

he does have a name. he has only had it for a few weeks and does not really respond that great to it. he was re-named by the foster parent, she felt the original name needed to be changed because that name was not good and the dogs much improved home situation called for a new name. i agree its a problem but i feel we can work through it and give him a new happy home !!!

He looks happy. "Happy" fits him. "Red Boy" is another that fits him, so does "Brownie".
I cant tell if he is brown or deep red. "Hershey" for Hershey's Chocolate is cool.
I usually judge by their looks and personality.
