Jensen's T37, Schultz's Royal GTO, not familiar with the others.

The Crystal Turquoise '69 GTO is/was Randy Franks (painted like Bill Schultz's RAV Bobcat) this is a A/C RAIII car IIRC; the green '70 RAIV GTO was Bob Boden's; the '73 SD455 TH400 Formula was Ron Gedoshian's (sp); and the Carousel Red '69 RAIV GTO was Andrew Getz's. I know I was there since you have a picture of my '71 Bonneville with the trailer and the Judge behind it next to Dan's '72 LeMan's wagon (GTO'd with a 455HO) with the T-37. Thanks for posting these! Dan actually found the results in his records, June 16 & 17, 1990 along with a few more pictures, and there was a good variety of the Pontiacs in attendance...4-'67 RAI GTO's, 4-RAIII GTO's + 1-RAIII Formula, 3-RAIV GTO's, 1-'70 455 HO GTO, 1-455HO T-37 + 1-455HO Formula, and 2-SD455 Firebirds. I had the quickest RAIV at 13.996 @ 102.04 mph on the tired original motor. Dan ran a 13.508 @ 102.73 mph with the stock 455HO.
Gosh, that seems like eons ago! Dennis |

Thanks PunchT37. I still have the Bonneville that now has 56,000 miles on it. Dan sold the wagon 15-20 years ago and it was slowly stripped of all the GTO and 455HO drivetrain, so isn't anything like he made it to be back then. We lost track of its whereabouts, but that probably is OK, we don't want to know.

Bonneville looks great do you still tow with it? I was thinking that was the royal car until you said it was a clone with a/c if you look hard you can see the a/c in the picture. Your right time goes by fast I would have guessed mid to late 90’s.

I think this was the first race I attended that Paul & John Glasgo brought their '67 RAI Tyrol Blue GTO (drop dead gorgeous too!) and that thing was running 13.50's all day long and had our class covered by a half second...I was so impressed...and humbled (lol!). They raised (lowered et-wise) the bar for all the pure stock competitors. I met Paul in the semi-final round and he just walked away from me all the way down the track. Dan won big-block with a good race against Steve Vanderwall in his '68 1/2 428 SCJ Mustang coupe, both running 13.50's.
It wasn't long after this series of races Dan & Bob started renting Milan to do a different version of the the factory muscle car races and PSMCDR was born in 1995. Dennis |

Thanks for the compliment! I don't take care of them as well as I should...poor old girl hasn't been outdoors and driven since these pictures were take several years ago...but hopefully this year we'll get some cruising miles on her. At least the Bonnie is kept inside and rodent free.
