Default 1962 GP Clutch Fork Spring/Plate

I was assembling the bell housing and clutch fork on my 62 GP 4spd car, I cannot remember how the 2 metal plates and clutch spring sit on the clutch fork? Does anyone one have a picture? Do they both mount on the inside with the spring in-between? I pulled my parts book and do not see any picture of that? Help!

This is from the 1961 parts catalog, and while it's a picture of a Tempest bellhousing the clutch throwout arm cover parts are pretty similar. The flanged piece goes against the bellhousing, then the flat piece, then the spring which hooks into a hold on the arm to hold it all in place.

As I recall, my 62 went together the same way as Stuart's photo.

Stuart,

thanks for picture, I just got back to it yesterday. Is there supposed to be grease between plates? metal to metal contact on every shift? Mark

I don't know if it's required but I put some grease on mine, it seemed like a good idea. Having said that I didn't notice any previous wear on the parts from rubbing against each other.
